RAMALLAH, January 21, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian Tuesday night sustained an injury in an attack by Israeli colonists on the Ramallah- Nablus Road, according to security sources.
They said that Israeli colonists hurled stones at vehicles with Palestinian registration plates traveling near Shilo colony, northeast of Ramallah, injuring a passenger in the head and causing damage to several cars.
The casualty was rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.
Meanwhile, colonists gathered on the main road near Sinjil town, northeast of Ramallah, and obstructed the movement of Palestinian vehicles.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Over 700,000 Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
