RAMALLAH, January 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Illegal extremist colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, gathered on Monday night at the entrance to Burqa village and in the Tall Asur area, east of Ramallah, according to security sources.

Sources informed WAFA that a group of extremist colonists, backed by Israeli forces, gathered at the entrance to Burqa village and scattered nails on the road, aiming to puncture the tires of Palestinian vehicles.

According to the sources, another group of extremist colonists, under Israeli protection, gathered in the Tall Asur area near Kafr Malik village, obstructing the movement of citizens in the area.

Earlier this evening, several colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, gathered near At-Taybeh village, northeast of Ramallah, causing significant disruption to traffic in the region.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.

The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.

Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
