BETHLEHEM, January 20, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian shepherd was injured on Monday after being attacked by a colonist-owned dog in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem.
The Secretary of the Fatah Movement in Kisan, Ahmed Ghazal, told WAFA that colonists released a number of dogs on local resident Awad Abd Obayat, in his forties, while he was herding his sheep in the eastern area of the village, where they bit his body in various places.
He was then transferred by a Red Crescent ambulance to a hospital in Bethlehem.
It is noteworthy that the occupation and its settlers have recently escalated their attacks on shepherds, which included shooting, killing a number of sheep, seizing part of them, and imposing heavy fines.
