HEBRON, January 19, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces Sunday detained Palestinian civilians from Masafer Yatta, while colonists chased residents and shepherds in a number of gatherings and ruins.
Activist Osama Makhamreh said that the occupation forces detained Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Najjar and Saddam Mohammad Al-Najjar while they were trying to expel the colonists who released their sheep in their agricultural crops in Khirbet Al-Markaz in Masafer Yatta.
The colonists also released their sheep in residents' lands planted with olive trees in Khirbet Al-Fakhit, which belongs to residents Shahada Makhamreh and Kayed Makhamreh.
In Khirbet Al-Tuba, colonists released their livestock in agricultural crops belonging to the Issa Awad family, and tried to steal a herd of livestock from the residents near the ruin, and they chased local resident Ali Al-Hamamdeh, and prevented him from grazing his sheep in the Bir Ma'in area.
