After they confronted colonists, two Palestinians detained by Israeli forces near the Jordan Valley

RAMALLAH, January 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday detained two Palestinians after they confronted colonists who tried to steal livestock in the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley.

The official in charge of the Jordan Valley file in Tubas Governorate, Moataz Basharat, indicated that the occupation forces detained An’ad Hassan Mustafa Rabaya and Saleh Yousef Khanifis, who confronted the colonists and prevented them from stealing cows belonging to one of the citizens.

The citizens of the village of Bardala had confronted an attack launched by a number of colonists on the village and attempted to steal cows belonging to local resident Jamal Abdul Sawafta in the western area of ​​the village.

After that, confrontations erupted between the villagers and the colonists, who were provided protected by the occupation forces.

It is noteworthy that colonists established a pastoral colonial outpost west of the village about two weeks ago, and since then they have begun carrying out attacks and provocative acts against the citizens.
