JORDAN VALLEY, January 6, 2025(WAFA) - Colonists began on Monday plowing dozens of dunums of agricultural land owned by Palestinian residents in the Khirbet al-Hadidiyah area in the northern Jordan Valley, according to a local official.
The head of the al-Maleh village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, reported that colonists brought in an agricultural tractor and began plowing agricultural land in al-Hadidiyah, raising concerns over the potential seizure of the land.
Coinciding with the start of the rain-fed season in the Jordan Valley, colonists have plowed dozens of dunums of agricultural land in various areas of the northern Jordan Valley, preventing its owners from tending to their lands.
