Colonists seize agricultural land near Jenin

JENIN, January 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists seized agricultural land in the town of Jaba', south of Jenin, on Monday.

The landowner, Saad Fashafsheh, told WAFA that colonists stormed his agricultural land near the village of Al-Fandakumiya, with their agricultural machinery, and began plowing and cultivating the land with the aim of seizing it, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.

Fashafsheh added that the colonists had previously seized his 20-dunum land, but he had been cultivating it for many years, and intended to plant it with wheat this year.

He said that he had been attacked by settlers more than once while he was on the land, the last of which was during the last olive season, when the settlers stole the crop and expelled him from the land.
