HEBRON, December 22, 2024 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian properties today in the Um al-Simsim area near the town of Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, according to local sources.
Samer Abu Sharekh, a local Palestinian resident, told WAFA that colonists destroyed his agricultural room, uprooted its windows and contents, and damaged water tanks. He reported that all of his belongings in the area were attacked.
It is noteworthy that colonists have been increasing their attacks on Palestinian properties in several areas south of the town, with attempts to seize agricultural and grazing land in efforts to expand their colonies.
The ongoing escalation in colonist violence is part of a broader trend of land appropriation and displacement of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
