NABLUS, December 13, 2024 (WAFA) - Colonists Friday night uprooted trees belonging to Palestinians in the village of Khirbet Tana east of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, according to a local activist.
Coordinator of the popular campaign to defend Tana lands, Thaer Hanani, told WAFA that he and several farmers were attacked by colonists, held captive for over an hour and forced to leave the area.
Colonists also stole the farmers’ equipment.
When Hanni and the farmers returned to the site later that night, they discovered that the colonists had uprooted several almond, grape and banana trees. Additionally, the fence surrounding the land had been destroyed.
