NABLUS, December 11, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli forces Wednesday stormed the village of Madama south of Nablus, in a continued escalation of military activity in the West Bank, according to local sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the village with several military vehicles, amidst the firing of live ammunition, sound bombs and tear gas canisters. No injuries were reported.
This raid follows the closure, on Tuesday, of three key entrances to the village by Israeli forces with earth mounds. The blocked roads connect Madama to the nearby village of Asira al-Qibliya, the Al-Murabba'a military checkpoint and the village of Burin.
In recent days, Madama has been subjected to a series of similar raids, leading to frequent confrontations between villagers and Israeli forces.
