UPDATE: Colonists attack Palestinians, attempt to steal livestock east of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, November, 20, 2024 (WAFA) – Colonists today attacked Palestinians in the Minya desert area, east of Bethlehem.

The head of the Minya village council, Zayed Kawazbeh, said that a group of Israeli colonists attacked local  residents in the desert area and attempted to steal some livestock, but the residents confronted them.

He added that the colonists further threatened the residents to evacuate the area within ten days.

Kawazbeh pointed out that the Minya desert has been suffering from colonist attacks since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, as the occupation paved colonial roads to connect the colonial outposts established on the lands of Minya, Tekoa and Kisan, east of Bethlehem.

He appealed to human rights institutions to intervene to protect local residents from colonist attacks.
