NABLUS, November 14, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked olive pickers in the village of Jalud, south of Nablus, on Thursday morning.
Local sources reported that a number of colonists, under the protection of the occupation forces, attacked citizens in the southwestern part of the village of Jalud, fired live bullets at them, and stole the olives.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation forces and colonists have carried out more than 253 attacks since the beginning of the olive picking season, including 184 attacks in the northern West Bank, and 113 concentrated in the Nablus Governorate.
During the annual olive picking season, Palestinian lands are subjected to repeated attacks by colonists and the occupation army, and farmers constantly face obstacles and arbitrary practices that prevent them from reaching their lands, which leads to serious material losses and increases their daily suffering under the occupation.
