HEBRON, November 11, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists Monday night uprooted several olive trees belonging to a Palestinian resident in Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron, according to a local activist.
Anti-colonies activist, Osama Makhamra, said colonists from the illegal colony of Susya cut down olive trees owned by a resident in Masafer Yatta.
The said area is subject to daily colonists’ attacks, including the forced expulsion of farmers from their land, confiscation of their belongings, harassment and physical assault.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.
The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.
Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
