SALFIT, November 1, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists painted racist graffiti on parked vehicles early this morning along the main road near the colonial Israeli settlement of Ariel, located northwest of Salfit in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that the colonists targeted parked cars belonging to Palestinian workers, painting racist graffiti and slogans.
Violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinians and their property is commonplace in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. It includes arsons of property and mosques, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Over 700,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
