KAZAN, October 24, 2024 (WAFA) – President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas received on Thursday with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira, on the sidelines of the BRICS summit held in the Russian city of Kazan.

The Preisdent reviewed the efforts made by the Palestinian leadership to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

President Abbas also touched on the efforts made by the State of Palestine, with the support of the recently formed international coalition, to achieve more recognition of the State of Palestine and the embodiment of the Palestinian state, stressing the continuation of the Palestinian endeavor to obtain the State of Palestine full membership in the United Nations.
