TULKAREM, October 11, 2024 (WAFA) - Two civilians were killed late Thursday night in Israeli drone shelling targeting a vehicle east of Tulkarem, in the northern occupied West Bank, according to security sources.
Sources told WAFA that two Palestinians were killed in a drone strike on a vehicle in the Jabal Al-Salihin area between the Thannaba neighborhood and the Nur Shams refugee camp. The two slain Palestinians were identified as Eyad Mohammed Abdallah; from Nur Shams refugee camp, and ‘Awad Jameel Saqer; from the town of Bal'a in Tulkarem.
Sources said that Israeli forces stormed the area immediately after the vehicle was shelled, and seized the bodies of the two slain Palestinians, before withdrawing from the place.
This brings the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli forces in the West Bank since the onset of the massive occupation aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023, to 751, including 164 children.
Earlier today, the occupation forces, using two heavily armored bulldozers, barged their way into the city from the western entrance and made their way to the Nur Shams refugee camp, deployed in all of the camp entrances and cordoned it off, preventing the camp residents access into and out of it,
Israeli bulldozers ripped up parts of Nablus Street in the vicinity of the Seif Abu Libdeh Circle, as a drone hovered above the camp at a low altitude.
