NABLUS, October 8, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman Tuesday evening sustained an injury in a colonists’ attack north of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.
They said that Israeli colonists hurled stones at Palestinian-registered vehicles passing on the road linking Jenin to Nablus, hitting a woman who was driving a vehicle and inflicting wounds in her shoulder and eye.
The casualty was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Over 700,000 Israeli colonists are living in colonies across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
