NABLUS, Saturday, August 24, 2024 (WAFA) — A 16-year-old boy was injured by live ammunition this afternoon during an Israeli military incursion into the town of Beit Furik, located east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, its teams responded to the scene and provided medical treatment to the boy, who sustained gunshot wounds to both legs during the confrontations that erupted following the military raid on the town.
Local sources added that Israeli forces also detained a Palestinian whose identity remains unknown at this time.
Beit Furik has been experiencing near-daily incursions by Israeli occupation forces, contributing to ongoing tensions in the region.
