TULKAREM, Tuesday, August 13, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian worker attempting to reach his workplace inside Israel was shot and injured today by Israeli army gunfire near the apartheid barrier south of Tulkarem city.

Director of ambulance and emergency services in Tulkarem Red Crescent association, Raed Yasin, told WAFA that it received a call about a 67-year-old worker who was shot in the leg by occupation soldiers at a gate in the apartheid barrier separating south of Tulkarem.

The wounded man, from the city of Nablus, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
