JERICHO, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli Colonists today stormed the Arab Al-Malihat Bedouin community, northwest of Jericho, and surrounded their homes.

Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that dozens of armed colonists, accompanied by their sheep, stormed the Mallihat Arab community and spread out between the homes of the citizens and terrorized their residents, which forced them to stay in their homes for fear of being hurt.

He pointed out that the repeated incursions of colonists and their livestock into the Bedouin community are aimed at stealing their only means of livelihood, as part of attempts to force the Bedouins to leave with the support of the occupying state.

Colonists also smashed the glass windows of a public transport vehicle on the Al-Mu'rajat road. Security sources said colonists attacked citizens' vehicles on the said road, smashing the glass windows of a vehicle.
