HEBRON, Saturday, August 3, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists set fire to dozens of olive trees in the town of Surif, located northwest of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, this aftenoon.
According to Hazem Ghnimat, the head of Surif Municipality, colonists from the Beit Ayin settlement, which is built on Palestinian land northwest of Hebron, broke into the Qareinat area on the outskirts of the town. They attacked residents' homes and burned 40 ancient olive trees in the region.
No injuries among local Palestinians were reported in the aftermath of the attack.
