RAMALLAH, Saturday, August 3, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was injured by gunfire from Israeli colonists during an attack on the village of Al-Mughayer, northeast of Ramallah, this afternoon.

Palestinian security sources reported that colonists targeted the western outskirts of Al-Mughayer, firing shots at residents in the area. The injured individual's condition and the severity of the injury remain unclear at this time.

In a related development, another group of colonists assembled in the Jabal Umm Diyab area of the village of Kherbit Bani Harith, west of Ramallah, apparently in preparation for a similar attack.

Colonist violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli occupation authorities.
