QALQILIYA, Saturday, July 13, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman Saturday evening sustained an injury in a colonist attack close to the al-Funduq village, east of the northern occupied West Bank city of Qalqiliya, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
PRCS said that its crews provided first aid treatment to a woman who sustained an injury after Israeli colonists attacked her vehicle as she was driving close to the village, and evacuated her to a hospital.
Colonist violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli occupation authorities.
Colonist violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Over 700,000 Israeli colonists are living in colonies across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
