RAMALLAH, Saturday, July 13, 2024 (WAFA) – This afternoon, Israeli occupation forces closed the north and main entrance to the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
The sources reported that Israeli forces shut down the military checkpoint located at the entrance of the town in both directions. They prohibited civilians from entering or leaving the town through that entrance.
This closure adds to the ongoing restrictions imposed by Israeli authorities in the West Bank, affecting the freedom of movement for Palestinian citizens in the region.
