HEBRON, Friday, July 12, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces conducted a raid this morning in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, resulting in the arrest of two brothers, according to local sources.
Local media activist Mohammad Awad reported that the Israeli forces stormed the town with dozens of military vehicles and soldiers. They arrested lawyer Thaer Abu Ayyash, 35, and his brother, Mahmoud, 36, after raiding their home, destroying its belongings, and confining family members to a single room.
The detainees were subsequently transferred to the Etzion military camp north of the town.
