JERUSALEM, Wednesday, July 10, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian-owned home today in the village of Um Tuba, south of occupied Jerusalem.
Witnesses reported that Israeli forces, accompanied by a bulldozer, broke into the village and began demolishing a house that was under construction.
According to a report by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, Israeli authorities have demolished 318 structures in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, during the first half of 2024. Additionally, they have issued demolition notices for 359 other structures and uprooted approximately 10,000 trees.
Last year, Israeli authorities carried out 292 demolition operations in the Jerusalem Governorate alone, including 73 structures that owners were forced to demolish themselves.
