RAMALLAH, Tuesday, July 9, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces Tuesday began bulldozing dozens of dunums of land in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah.
The head of the Umm Safa Village Council, Marwan Sabah, told WAFA that the occupation forces began bulldozing operations that affected dozens of dunums planted with olive trees and grapes in Jabal al-Ras area in the center of the village.
He pointed out that the area of these lands is estimated at about 200 dunums, noting that they were recently reclaimed and that trees were planted there.
Sabah pointed out that the occupation soldiers fired tear gas and sound bombs towards the citizens, but no casualties were reported.
