Colonists attack school in northeast of Tubas in northern West Bank

TUBAS, Saturday, July 6, 2024 (WAFA) – This morning, a mob of Israeli colonists attacked a school in Ibziq village, located northeast of Tubas in the northeast of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Azmi Balawna, the director of education in Tubas, stated that a group of colonists stormed the school, vandalized the protective fence, and forcibly removed the Palestinian flag from its mast.

Ibziq Basic Mixed School, accommodating students from grades one to six, serves 40 boys and girls from Ibziq village and surrounding areas.

Attacks by Israeli colonists are commonplace across the occupied Palestinian territory, but have seen exponential growth with the rise of Religious Zionism to the Israeli government coalition.
