BETHLEHEM, Thursday, July 4 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces issued a demolition notice against a house in the city of Beit Jala, in the occupied West Bank governate of Bethlehem, according to local sources.
Thaer Zarina, a local civilian, said that Israeli forces stormed Bir Aouna area in Beit Jala, where they handed the local resident Fatima Zarina a demolition notice against her two-storey house, each of which occupied an area of 70 and 120 square metres.
The targeted house was demolished twice in the past, noting that several structures along with homes were demolished in the same area.
Earlier morning, the occupation forces notified a halt on work and construction in two houses in the village of Al-Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem.
Two weeks ago, the occupation forces notified to remove mobile homes erected on the ruins of demolished homes in Ain Jwiza area.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation authorities issued more than 359 demolition notices against several facilities and structures in the West Bank in the first half of 2024.
