Occupation forces demolish two homes near Hebron

HEBRON, Thursday, July 4, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation bulldozers Thursday demolished two Palestinian-owned homes in the village of Birin, east of Hebron.

Coordinator of the Popular and National Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements, Ratib al-Jabour, said that the occupation forces stormed Birin and began demolishing two brick and tin homes, each of which had an area of ​​60 square metres, and which belonged to the local residents Yaqoub Burgan and Saeed Burqan.

Al-Jabour pointed out that there are six homes owned by Burqan family threatened with demolition in the same area under the pretext of building without a permit.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, in the first half of 2024, the occupation authorities demolished about 318 homes and facilities in the West Bank, including the city of Jerusalem, and that 632 citizens were affected by the demolitions, including 292 children and 199 women.
