Palestinians suffer from suffocation following colonists' assault near Hebron

HERRON, Monday, July 1 2024 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians suffered from suffocation on Monday evening after Israeli colonists attacked them, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, in the village of Umm Al-Khair in Musafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Local sources told WAFA that colonists from the Karmiel colony and Shimoun colonial outpost, which were built on citizens' lands and property south of Hebron, attacked citizens in Shuaib community in the village of Umm al-Khair, threatened children and women to kill them and sprayed them with pepper gas, injuring a number of them.

Some of them suffered from suffocation, while the occupation soldiers fired live bullets, stun grenades and poisonous gas at citizens.

It is noteworthy that a diplomatic delegation from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, the European Union, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom visited the village of Umm Al-Khair today, studied the conditions there, and condemned the widespread demolitions that the village’s homes and facilities were subjected to last Wednesday by the occupation forces, which was the largest demolition operation seen in the West Bank since October 7th.
