GAZA, Monday, July 1 2024 (WAFA) – One civilian today was killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Khuza’a, east of the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that occupation artillery bombed the town of Khuza’a, killing one civilian and wounding several others.
Simultaneously, the occupation warplanes targeted al-Mansoura Street in al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and northwest of Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The number of civilians killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, on October 7, 2023, has reached more than 37,877, mostly women and children. Over 86,969 others have been injured.
Thousands of victims remain missing; either buried under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them.
