GAZA, Thursday, June 27, 2024 (WAFA) – Several civilians, mostly children and women, today were killed and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting the Tunisian cemetery, east of the Shuja’iya neighborhood.
Medical sources reported that Israeli warplanes carried out violent airstrikes and artillery shelling on al-Shujaiya neighborhood, killing and injuring several civilians, mostly children and women.
Ambulance crews were not able to reach the casualties due to the intense and ongoing shelling on the neighborhood.
Meanwhile, tens of thousands of civilians were forcibly displaced due to the ongoing bombardment on various parts of Gaza City.
The occupation army forced civilians in al-Shujaiya, al-Turkman, and al-Tuffah neighborhoods to forcibly evacuate to the southern Gaza Strip via Salah Al-Din Street.
