Israeli forces detain 28 Palestinians from the West Bank

RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 27, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained at least 28 Palestinians during military raids across the occupied West Bank during the last 24 hours, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.

They said in a joint statement that the detentions were concentrated in Jenin governorate, where Israeli soldiers nine people, while the rest of the detentions of the detentions took place among the governorates of Hebron, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Nablus, and Jerusalem.

Israeli forces continue to carry out widespread raids, detentions, and brutal assaults during arrest operations, along with threats against detainees and their families, in addition to extensive destruction and vandalism of civilian homes.

The total number of Palestinians who were detained in the occupied West Bank since October 7th has risen to over 9430. This figure includes those detained from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and those taken hostage.
