JERUSALEM, Thursday, June 27, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces Thursday morning detained a Palestinian young man after he was shot in the foot by live bullets in the Qalandiya camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources said that the occupation forces deployed in the alleys of the camp, as Israeli snipers mounted the rooftops of houses, and as a result, confrontations broke out.

The sources pointed out that the young man, who was identified as Bilal Yousef Manasra, is the brother of the slain Palestinian Mohammad Manasra, who was killed on Februrary 29, 2024, near the town of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.

The occupation authorities are still withholding the slain Palestinian's body.
