Israeli colonists break into Jericho-governorate community

JERICHO, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists today broke into Ras Ein al-Auja Bedouin community, north of the occupied West Bank city of Jericho, according to a local activist.

Hasan Mleihat, head of al-Baydar Association for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that colonists barged their way into the community and muscled inside the dwellings of the community members.

He added that Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley are subjected to daily assaults at the hands of colonists and occupation forces. Such assaults include stealing belongings and livestock in an attempt to displace the communities to take over their land and expand nearby colonies.
