RAMALLAH, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 (WAFA) – Many civilians were killed and others were injured today in Israeli occupation’s bombardment of several areas in the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that at least three civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli air raid targeting a gathering of civilians in the al-Jarn area in the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
The occupation warplanes also targeted the southern and eastern areas of the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, five civilians were killed and others injured following an Israeli artillery shelling that targeted a residential apartment in the Nuseirat camp.
The Israeli occupation artillery also fired shells at farmers west of the new camp north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Dozens of civilians were injured after the occupation tanks bombed the homes of civilians in the town of Khuza’a in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
At least eight more civilians were killed in Israeli artillery and air attacks targeting multiple locations in the northern and central Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7th of last year has so far resulted in 37,658 documented Palestinian casualties, with 86,237 injured, the majority of whom are children and women. Thousands remain buried under the rubble.
