HEBRON, Monday, June 24, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, protected by occupation soldiers, today brutally assaulted an elderly man in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Local sources said a group of Israeli colonists from the illegal colonies of Maon and Tzhar Man attacked and assaulted an elderly man, identified as Ahmed al-Shawaheen, while he was grazing his livestock in Wadi al-Juwaiya in Masafer Yatta, causing him wounds and bruises.
Al-Shawaheen was subsequently rushed to Yatta Hospital, where his condition was described as moderate.
In a related context, colonists from the illegal colony of Bani Hefer assaulted a young man in the village of Al-Buwaib, east of Yatta.
Meanwhile, a group of Israeli colonists further chased the Palestinian herders in Khallet al-Adra and prevented them from grazing their livestock on their lands.
