Several civilians killed and injured in Israel's ongoing onslaught on Gaza

GAZA, Sunday, June 23, 2024 (WAFA) - Several civilians were killed and others were injured this evening in a series of Israeli air raids that targeted different areas of the war-torn Gaza Strip.

The occupation artillery bombed the vicinity of displaced persons’ tents in the al-Mawasi area, resulting in several casualties.

Eight citizens were also killed this afternoon in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the headquarters of the Vocational Training College of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) west of Gaza City.

Nine citizens were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Civil defense crews and rescue teams said that they managed to recover 3 bodies and several wounded following Israeli aircraft shelling that targeted a house belonging to the Ja’rour family in the vicinity of the Dabit area in central Gaza City.

A woman was killed and other people were injured in an Israeli strike targeting a civilian house in the Bureij refugee camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

A young man was also killed by Israeli gunfire in the Al-Shoka area, east of the city of Rafah.

At dawn, a citizen was killed and others were injured in an Israeli raid that targeted a group of civilians to the north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Two citizens were also killed after being targeted in a drone attack near the power station north of the Nuseirat camp.

In the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, the occupation army blew up and destroyed hundreds of homes across Rafah city.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out a relentless aggression against the Gaza Strip, killing more than 37,598 citizens, and injuring 86,032 others, with thousands of victims remaining under the rubble.
