JERICHO, Saturday, June 22, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, protected by the Israeli occupation army, today raided the Bedouin community of Ras Ain al-Auja, north of the city of Jericho and attacked its residents.

Farhan Ghawanmeh, a resident of the community, said that a group of Israeli colonists raided the Ras al-Auja community since the morning hours, searched five barns, chased its residents, and brutally assaulted them.

The general supervisor of the al-Baidar organization for defending the rights of the Bedouins, Hassan Malihat, indicated that this raid is led by the colonist identified as Omer who is known for stealing Palestinian lands in the region.

The colonist has a palm and sheep farm in al-Auja area, added Malihat.
