GAZA, Thursday, June 20, 2024 (WAFA) — A Palestinian civilian was killed and several others sustained various injuries this morning following an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of people in Deir al-Balah, located in the central Gaza Strip.
Medical sources confirmed that the airstrike, carried out by an Israeli drone, hit a gathering of people east of Deir al-Balah with at least one missile. The attack resulted in the immediate murder of one individual and left several others wounded.
The casualties were rushed to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for medical attention.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7th of last year has so far resulted in 37,396 documented Palestinian casualties, with 85,523 injured, the majority of whom are children and women. Many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, with rescue and medical teams unable to reach them.
