HEBRON, Wednesday, June 19, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli forces late at night on Tuesday and in the predawn hours of Wednesday detained at least 35 Palestinians from multiple West Bank districts, according to local and security sources.
In the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron, sources told WAFA that 17 Palestinians were detained by the Israeli forces in the town of Ad Dahriyeh south of Hebron. Israeli forces also detained a Palestinian youth in the city of Hebron.
Meanwhile, a special Israeli military force stormed Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, and detained a freed prisoner who spent 12 years behind Israeli bars. Forces detained another youth after raiding his home in Beit Iba village to the west of Nablus.
Eight Palestinians were also detained in the village of Jayyus, east of Qalqilya.
Forces also detained a university student after raiding his family home in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, in the northern West Bank.
Others were detained in several other West Bank areas.
