JENIN, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli forces today set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin, in the north of the occupied West Bank.
The head of the Jalboun Village Council, Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub, said that the occupation forces erected a checkpoint at the entrance to the village, inspecting vehicles and checking the identity cards of passengers.
Meanwhile, the soldiers continue to besiege a house and turn it into a military point.
Abu Al-Rub pointed out that the village has been subjecting almost daily to incursions by the occupation forces, involving shooting of bullets at homes from, a large-scale of home raids and detentions, and the demolition of homes and agricultural facilities and the destruction of streets.
Israeli severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement through a complex combination of fixed checkpoints, flying checkpoints, and various other physical obstructions.
