Israel colonists set fire to Palestinian agricultural land west of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Monday, June 10, 2024 (WAFA) – Israel colonists today set fire to privately-owned Palestinian agricultural land in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem, said security sources.

Sources told WAFA correspondent that colonists stormed an area in the said town and set ablaze around 10 dunums of land planted with olive trees and grapevine.

In a related matter, the occupation forces erected a military checkpoint in the southern part of the town, searching citizens' vehicles and checking their identity cards. No detentions were reported.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.

The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians, including the destruction of homes and properties, has been widely condemned.

Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
