HEBRON, Thursday June 6, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists today uprooted about 220 olive trees and demolished an agricultural room in the town of Qasra, south of Nablus.
Qusay Abu Rida, a local civilian, said that he was surprised this morning when a group of Israeli colonists uprooted around 220 olive trees and demolished an agricultural room on his plot of land, with an area of 42-dunums.
Abu Rida pointed out that the colonists began bulldozing operations in the area about a week ago, preventing farmers from reaching their lands. He also said he suffered heavy losses as a result of the attack as his land produced about 70 tons of oil annually.
He said that this is not the first attack on his land as the colonists had previously destroyed stone chains and a fence around his land.
