Stop work and construction orders issued by the Israeli occupation against agricultural lands Tulkarm

TULKARM, Thursday June 6, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation authorities today notified a halt on work and construction in agricultural lands located adjacent to the separation and apartheid wall, west of the Shweika suburb, north of Tulkarm.

Ali Abu Saleh, the owner of the land, said that the occupation forces pasted a notice on a plastic house on his land, ordering him to halt on work and construction in his agriculture lands.

He added that these notices are not new, as they are a systematic assault pursued by the occupation to empty the lands of their owners for the benefit of colonial expansion.

Abu Salah pointed out that the occupation does not hesitate from time to time to distribute notices to farmers, threaten them, pursue them, shoot them, and expel them from their lands even before the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Abu Saleh said that they have directed the relevant institutions and competent authorities to take legal action against these notifications, especially since the owners of these lands have identification documents proving their ownership of them.

During the past two days, the occupation forces leveled a 24-dunums of private nursery in the area called al-Deir Al-Qibliya west of the suburb without prior warning. They also razed a 30-dunums of land, destroyed trees, cultivated vegetables, destroyed water lines for irrigating crops, and prevented farmers from returning to their lands at gunpoint.
