JERUSALEM, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces today demolished commercial structures in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Local sources said that an Israeli force, accompanied by a bulldozer, raided the Ain al-Loza neighborhood in the town, and demolished shops belonging to the Burgan family.
The Jerusalem Governorate confirmed in a statement that the escalating and accelerating demolition operations in the governorate are a real evidence that the occupation government is pressuring Jerusalemite citizens in order to displace them outside the city, empty the city of its original residents, and replace them with colonists.
