NABLUS, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation bulldozers Tuesday morning demolished tourist facilities, tents, housing, and stone baskets in the village of Duma, south of Nablus.
The head of the Duma Village Council, Suleiman Dawabsha, told WAFA that the occupation bulldozers demolished Palestinian citizens’ homes and tents, and swept away stone chains in the eastern area of the village, as they began demolishing five tourist facilities in the same area, owned by local resident Ahmed Salawada.
He added that the village is being subjected to a fierce attack by the occupation forces, adding that 200 homes and facilities were notified of demolition in the past two years, in addition to controlling the water springs, closing the entrance to the village, starting fires on a daily basis, and preventing farmers from reaching their lands.
It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities carried out 47 demolition operations in the West Bank during May, affecting 66 facilities, including 35 inhabited homes, 5 uninhabited, and 15 agricultural facilities and others, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
