JERICHO, Monday, June 3, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today suddenly closed the entrances to the city of Jericho, east of the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said that the occupation forces set up military checkpoints at the entrances leading to the city of Jericho, searched citizens' vehicles and checked their occupants' ID cards, causing a stifling traffic jam.

The occupation closed the entrances to the city of Jericho with military checkpoints, impeding the movement of local residents to and from the Karama crossing, which is considered the only outlet for locals in the northern governorates.
