TULKARM, Monday, June 3, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Monday demolished a private plant nursery for a farmer, west of the Shweika suburb, north of Tulkarm.
The owner of the plant nursery, Yasser Youssef Musa, told WAFA correspondent that the occupation forces bulldozed the nursery, which was built on a land area of 24 dunums and specializes i producing forest and fruit trees, without prior warning.
He added that the Israeli forces also completely damaged the nursery’s contents, including seedlings and agricultural equipment numbering (300,000 seedlings).
Musa pointed out that his land is located west of the Shweika suburb and is 400 meters away from the apartheid separation and expansion wall, adding that it is among the lands classified as Area A, and is registered officially in the Palestinian land registery records in his name, noting that he has the identification papers for that, pointing out that the nursery has been in place for 10 years, with eight people working in it to support their families.
